I can’t get a clear answer anywhere from any carrier and the Samsung website doesn’t list it, or I can’t find it. if someone from Samsung can be clear with the answer to the question. for the .....Tab S7 Plus... is there the option for phone calls? You know since it would have its own SIM card/phone number. Can you make calls from the tablet - not connected or linked to another cellphone? And if so, does anyone know which carrier allows this? And if not - is that going to be in an already scheduled update? Att customer service says of course - yet their website says it must be linked. ‘Verizon doesn’t say either way - but someone with an S6, bought the S7+ popped in the same SIM card and it worked after changing a few APN settings. ‘tmobile says no from the reviews, yet yes from a user. ‘I hope someone has a clear answer.

I have been trying to find the sane answer - no luck. Makes you wonder about things. They would have meeting after meeting regarding models for the carriers - not one single person at Samsung ever said.....ok let’s put out an unlocked version, or if we won’t release it....let’s put out a disclaimer stating we don’t and will not carry one. I don’t know anyone that buys locked phones or tablets anymore, we all buy them outright......that is one reason while I am on the fence about spending over a grand on a tablet - don’t need to be chained to any carrier.....ever. Hope we get a straight answer....seems to be a lot of answers here that a mistaken or very unclear.

I have the note 10 plus. I literally waited two weeks before installing the latest update..... just to see if anyone was having problems. I jumped too soon it seems. This is my second problem post all because of the latest update. The volume level during calls in painfully loud. You can't lower it enough so that you can safely press it against your ear without taking the chance of hearing damage. If you put it on speaker, the lowest setting...it is loud enough to still hear at least 12 feet away. Forget using an ear bud or earphones because again those are painful pressed against your ear and adjusting volume on various brands still doesn't lower it more than the Samsung level. I've done all the usual... checked all settings, turned them off turned them back on, restated the phone. Nothing works...... it is the latest update that has made this expensive phone a mess. Does anyone have any idea how to lower the volume to a usable level?

I knew I shouldn’t have updated....but I did, now I regret it. And of course there is no safe way to roll back prior to my update. Aside from minor changes that I don’t like...There is a problem. After the update, notifications for YouTube look wonky and distorted, just sloppy. What is going on ....?....you see the notification is not even across the full screen of the cellphone and its all jammed up, it looks a mess. I’ve changed every setting imaginable and it stays like that...also...for WhatsApp those notifications don’t show a brief pop-up notification any longer.
