That's a good effort man, but if I wanted to turn off an app's notifications, it would not have helped me. What I would have done is opened up "settings" and gone to the "apps" menu and tapped the problem. There's a bunch of info there, but it's all explanatory. If not, I'm always free for a message.

And if that was the cause, that would fix it. The other alternative is Bixby Routines. But that app is powerful enough that it goes way beyond a place like this lol.

Oh no, no need to go that far. In the Accessibility menu, go to Installed Apps and remove their permission. If the screenshot still doesn't work, then you know that isn't the issue and can put them back. And if it isn't the cause then I'm out of ideas for now. I can think of an easy workaround, but that's all.

Open settings and search for "accessibility button". Something there shouldn't be affecting this, but it might. If an app is listed there, it might be the one causing this issue.

Samsung Cloud was removed in the last year or so. Before that moving secure folder was easy. But being secure like the name says, without that the folder is pretty impossible to transfer. It actually makes sense to me that way. You wouldn't want someone hooking up to your phone and just copying the entire thing over. - That said, secure folder is really a rebrand if Android's work folder that uses Knox. Do you use it for work?

Oh lol. So whoever sent you that has rules on how they're supposed to help you. And that's one of them. It's telling them to tell you to call support. Instead they sent you the rule lmao. Call customer support. You should do that. - It's very likely an app doing this to you. You can test this by putting the phone in safe mode and seeing if it still happens. This temporarily disables all apps that you've added to the phone and gives you a major clue. If this didn't happen until after the update, there's a more sure solution, so let me know.

What the exact wording on that? An app doesn't need to want to hurt you if it has a bug. And telling if an app is nefarious doesn't work how you might be thinking, I'm guaranteeing you they don't read the code, not even Google does that. There is no Samsung option that will cause this. I've got a couple ideas, but need that wording first.

Huh, I remember enabling that. Accounts are linked, apps have proper permissions, gone through settings of those apps. Confirmed bug

You've turned on a Accessibility option somehow. Just got to turn it off. Settings>Accessibility>Advanced Settings>Accessibility Options The first item holds the goods. Turn off everything there.

I mean Samsung is a global company with brother organizations that make military weapons and sell health insurance. Running a scam like this seems a little too small time to be worth it lol. And what I said was true. For missing OR stolen items (not package) your electronics company of choice is likely to drag their feet for whatever reason until they get that report. I'm not saying it's right, but it's not evidence of some logistics nightmare that this scam would have to entail. And would implicate the rest of the industry. The box itself doesn't have to go missing. Working in manufacturing, I can't tell you how many boxes I had to open to fix something without it looking like I had opened it. It's dumb simple to do with practice.

Can't speak to Samsung specifically, but requiring a police report seems to be some kind of standard practice. What's different about Samsung here is that they're openly telling you. Other places they just string you along.

The flip is a compromise to look at. Lesser specs, but also a much smaller size. The form factor is cool enough to maybe justify the lesser specs, not like our phones actually require all the stuff we cram into lol. In most use cases anyway
