That's a good effort man, but if I wanted to turn off an app's notifications, it would not have helped me. What I would have done is opened up "settings" and gone to the "apps" menu and tapped the problem. There's a bunch of info there, but it's all explanatory. If not, I'm always free for a message.

Gotcha. Don't have the S22 myself, but one thing to note about how the fast charging works is that it tries to do it without frying your battery too much. If you start charging nearer empty (not a good idea btw, also bad on battery), you'll notice that it's FAST. But as it gets fuller, you'll see a slowdown. Without getting into the nitty-gritty details, this is because Samsung is trying to keep the battery shipshape for longer term. I don't know the exact wordage on the marketing, but I could have a good rant about electronics marketing. Let other people have their say, but I think this might not be bad behaviour.

You close all background apps, are you doing anything in the foreground? Gaming or watching video will be taxing on the battery if you're doing that at the same time.

No problem, you have people my age parroting that myth for whatever reason, even if they've never popped the hood open. It boggles my mind because I know that the standard recommendation was partial charges for laptops, before tablets and phones took over. Just how did this obnoxious wisdom take over? Anyway, one thing you'll want to note is what it says about fast charging. NOT ALL FAST CHARGING WORKS THE SAME WAY And it should. The USB-C standard defines how it should work and work safely. But phone manufacturers sometimes have their own ideas. Samsung is good about it, but they also don't tell you what their "Fast Charging 2.0" actually does. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB_hardware#USB_Power_Delivery As far as I can tell, your S22 definitely supports PPS. AVS and EPR are also very likely. What that means is the advice about voltages is also slightly out of date (not wrong), because the phone is already applying that best practice before you knew it existed. Not all batteries are the same. Would you treat your phone's battery like your car battery? Of course not. Oh lol. So whoever sent you that has rules on how they're supposed to help you. And that's one of them. It's telling them to tell you to call support. Instead they sent you the rule lmao. Call customer support. You should do that. - It's very likely an app doing this to you. You can test this by putting the phone in safe mode and seeing if it still happens. This temporarily disables all apps that you've added to the phone and gives you a major clue. If this didn't happen until after the update, there's a more sure solution, so let me know.

What the exact wording on that? An app doesn't need to want to hurt you if it has a bug. And telling if an app is nefarious doesn't work how you might be thinking, I'm guaranteeing you they don't read the code, not even Google does that. There is no Samsung option that will cause this. I've got a couple ideas, but need that wording first.

Nah, it's a setting. Possibly multiple. Settings>Network Connections>Wifi At the upper-right corner, click the three dots. Advanced. In that section titled "Intelligent Wifi" (me and Samsung agree to disagree), I currently have them all off. Mobile switch and location switching aren't bad to have on. I have had problems like that though with "Detect suspicious networks". It's an evil no good setting that doesn't detect common network attacks. It does send packets somewhere though. It also breaks network switching in quite a few cases. Beyond wifi, it will break mobile data and Bluetooth switching. I think I'll stop ranting now. Turn that junk off 😁

Bright spot? Couldn't be certain without a better picture, but that looks like the surface has been chipped off. And if it were to be chipped off and a Q90R were to be a QLED tv, then I would be say that's probably a backlight you looking at in the bottom picture. In summary, somebody broke your stuff.

Nope. Well, I did. So I deleted that fingerprint and remade it. Works great now. You've really got to get that entire print at every angle or it don't work right. Spend extra care on that step. .maybe it takes you an extra five minutes to get right. Who cares? Those five minutes are hours saved elsewhere.
