Like hundreds of people dealing the Samsung and the ARC functions.... I have the same issue with my samsung UN75RU8000 that I bought a couple of months ago. I was a real pain to get it to work once. It intermitently for days but then worked for a month. To fix it I have to keep unpowering the TV for some minutes/hours, and then trying to reconnect everything back praying that will work next time. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. Today I cannot get it to work at all. Please, there should be a firmware fix for this. Is samsung at least working on it? Samsung should at least enhance the "reset audio" option so you dont have to remove power to the TV!. I use my TV UN75RU8000 with a Pioneer vsx-302 receiver. and I am sure its NOT the receiver, its the TV. Anyway, I will be happy to try new things if samsung where here to provide any help at all. In my case there is a message that says "your reciever is not ARC compatible please connect an ARC compatible receiver". Of course when it decides to work it does show" ATMOS compatible receiver found" but the joy doesnt last. Connecting the receiver via TOSLINK is out of the question. it degrades audio qualiry, and its not compatible with Dolby Digital+ required for NETFLIX. So this ARC problem should be solved. Does anyone know if there is a Lawsuit or something going on for this broken feature?
