I purchased a Galaxy Watch 42 MM for a gift in June of 2019. With the least bit of moisture, the sensor cover comes unglued and the watch will no longer charge. I have received two replacement watches, the most recent in February of 2020. That watch is now on its way to Samsung with the same problem. So - a total of three watches have all done the same thing. I spoke to a Samsung care team member, and requested a refund. No success - just got the UPS label to send the current watch in - with a warning that if there is water damage I will have to pay for the repair. The watch is supposed to be water resistant - in fact, you are supposed to be able to swim with it! I also went to the Verizon store where I purchased the watch, and was told they can be of no help. The watch cost $379 and is useless. I can't get a refund, and in fact, Verizon told me I should just pay it off and try to sell it on Craig's List! I would never sell anything I knew to be defective! Do not buy this watch, and I will never buy another. The TV's and phones are fine, but the watch has been a sad, expensive mistake.

I have had the same experience. We have received three replacement Galaxy 42MM watch and the sensor cover has come off all of them. I am sending back the third replacement watch in less than a year and have received no satisfaction at all from Samsung. This watch is a huge disappointment and a $379.00 waste of money. I will never buy another Samsung watch! @Samsung_fsVAQy2 wrote: I purchased my Galaxy Watch less than one year ago and technically it's still under warranty. Recently the sensor cover on the back of my watch fell off, so I contacted Samsung to file a claim. I was sent a return label and I returned the watch. Samsung contacted me today to tell me that my warranty has been voided since my watch has liquid damage. I have never submerged my watch in water or even showered with it. The only liquid that could have gotten into the watch is sweat. I'm a paraplegic that uses a manual wheelchair, so sweating is definitely part of my daily routine. The Galaxy watch is a watch that Samsung advertised as one that you can swim in, but mines could not withstand the daily sweat from a paraplegic. I have been a loyal customer of Samsung for several years, spending several thousands of dollars on their products. After the lack of costomer service that I received today I will be taking my future business elsewhere. Samsung asked me to pay $339 to have my watch repaired. I am very disappointed with Samsung and their attempt to take advantage of customers.
