They are doing that for all folds with issues, refunds not replacements as they do not have enough inventory. They are not even fixing them right now. They are rectifying by giving a refund.

On the main screen the Gmail app does not show the chat /meet tabs on the bottom. It only works when I reopen the app on the cover screen. I'm guessing Google just needs to update the app for the fold.

Seeing that they are having a hard time keeping up with supply for these phones, they probably don't have the parts to replace the screen a refund is probably the best option for both parties.

If it's the cover screen that's coming out that should be okay to replace. it's the folding screen you have to be careful with.

Currently using the aramid fiber case and its perfect except for the exposed hinge. I wonder if something like a skin would work to cover it up at least to prevent scratches. Does not look like there is much of a gap between the hinge and body to allow it to fold with a protective layer. Also not looking for those bulky armor cases that cover up the hinge.

The lock screen image for the cover screen and the main screen can be set individually. With main screen open go to the wallpaper and change it to the one you want for lock and home.

I just got my fold and the screen protectors on the inside and outside are perfectly fine. I wouldn't mess around with 3rd party screen protectors on this phone.

Samsung is flooded with preorders with the fold 3 is highest selling phones in 2 years. So there are bound to be some issues with the high demand. I had some issues with my preorder but Samsung CS is good with resolving with a phone call or chat.

I would not count on them adding SD card, cloud storage is the way forward adding SD card is a step backward for a phone.
