This washer was in our house when we bought it in late 2017, but it looked brand new then. A few weeks ago it stopped completing cycles. At first it would get to 4 minutes remaining and then go back to 10 minutes remaining, and continue doing that endlessly. Now it gets stuck in the 30s, too (counts down from like 36 to 30 minutes and then goes back to 36.) The machine seems to be functioning just fine; it simply won't go through the cycle in a normal way. I've read through similar posts on here about possible fixes and tried to clean the filter, ensure the unit is balanced, re-calibrate by holding the buttons, etc. Anything else I should try? More to the point: How much would this fix actually cost? Any chance this problem is covered under the 10-year direct drive warranty? Or should I just move on and get a new machine from a more reliable brand?
