when I got my A71 5g, only some messages were coming through to the default messaging app. I switched to Google messages, and haven't had any issues.

can't help, but I have an unlocked A71 5g, and still have not gotten the update. when I do, I will see if I have the same issue.

that is a slide out app. swipe to the left in that area and it will open up.
