I have a similar problem with my Samsung RF28K9070SR/AA flex zone refrigerator. The freezer isn't freezing. The temperature gauge shows it is minus 8 (where I set it) but everything is thawed. I have unplugged the fridge to reset it but the freezer temperature shows it actually is 53 degrees (not minus 8). At times when the temperature does show minus 8 it flashes, which the manual says is a warning that the temperature inside is greater than 59 degrees. I have called Samsung multiple times Since Aug. 14. They kept setting up tickets for repair and the repair center kept canceling them. They didn't have tech that does cooling or they didn't service my area or they weren't making house calls during the pandemic were some of the reasons given. Eventually, a Samsung case manager called one of the tech centers and they flatly refused to come out. The case manager offered me a partial refund since they couldn't get a tech out to fix it but the rvisor reneged on that offer because the refrigerator is out of warranty. His advice was that I would have to get someone on my own to look at it and deem it unrepairable before they would consider a refund. I called around and none of the locals service Samsung and the only one that does is the one not making house calls. (I should have done my homework before buying because this is a known issue with this fridge). Now, I am stuck with a fridge that doesn't have a working freezer and no help from Samsung. They reneged on an offer and have left me holding a lump of coal. Lot's said for their customer service (at least from the supervisor) and their integrity about honoring an offer that was extended. (Except for the supervisor with no compassion) everyone else in customer service was super helpful to this point. This isn't the only problem I have had with this fridge. The icemaker kept frosting up on the outside and not making ice. Samsung told me how to reset it but I had to do that at least once a week and defrost it. Eventually, the ice maker had to be replaced. Hope my Samsung stove, dishwasher, washer/dryer, TVs and smartphone don't starb acting up cause I don't expect much help other than "youy're on your own"). Back to GE for me.

Too many problems with this fridge that's two years old. First the ice maker froze up every week and didnt make ice. Samsung replaced it. But immediately after that the fridge started making a lot hum and the bottom freezer stopped freezing (cools fine). Back and forth with samsung reps since Aug. 17 about this. They set up service tickets about 6 times and each time it gets cancelled. They.escalated. still nothing. At wits end about this. So frustrating . My old GE was a workhorse. Two year old expensive Samsung is.a dud.
