Update : the Beta 3 did not fix this problem for me after all. What has made it better is switching to phone Mac and then reserving that particular Mac address for the phone in the Google router settings. It runs slower and drops off once or twice a day. I am curious if this helps any one else.

The gesture based navigation seems like it could use some fine tuning, I have to swipe up several times before it will "catch" and stay open.

The ongoing problem with Wi-Fi dropping constantly seems to have disappeared with this update. I only installed it this morning but I have not had one incidence of disconnection. So happy to have this problem solved!
