Hi Jtyler15 yeah after making the suggested adjustment prior to your post, it seemed to get a little better but it still happens. I'll try the 4K 30fps and see what happens. One would think that in 2020 this would not be an issue. Seems like basic function for a tv. I can't believe we're even discussing this LOL Come on Samsung!! What the heck?

That would be difficult if not next to impossible. It happens so quickly and randomly I would have to make a video and try to capture the exact moment it happens which I'm sorry but I shouldn't have to do that. My description of the problem in the original post sums up the issue and details all of my settings. It just seems like something that should NOT happen on a brand new TV, never had such an issue with a 14 year old Pioneer plasma. Thank you

Seems they always say the TV is fine unless it just up and dies altogeher I guess. That's pretty lame. I guess we should just expect this kind of thing out of cheap c&*p made in China? Is this unique to Samsung? This is our first new TV since 2006. I just replaced a 42" Pioneer plasma that operated flawlessly for 14 years wanting to move to the "modern" age. Am I expecting too much? LOL Seems this is basic stuff that should not be an issue in even the most basic of entry level tv's.

When watching the Q60T randomly a character in a scene will move and there will be a slight stuttering effect for a second or two on just that character. Current video settings: Picture Mode : Standard Picture Size Settings : 16:9 Standart Expert settings: Picture Clarity : Custom Judder Reduction : 0 LED Clear Motion : Auto Noise Reduction : Auto

Hi Gill The system has remained stable all this week so far. I did replace both HDMI cables in my system with brand new 12g HDMI cables. I work for an av / broadcast integration company so one of my suppliers hooked me up! The only remaining slight irritation is it takes a couple of seconds for the audio to come on thru the Sonos Arc upon initially turning the tv on. Not a big deal but it creates a couple seconds of suspense wondering if it's going to fail or not. Is that normal behaviour for the eArc port? All delay settings on the arc and Q60T are either off or set to their lowest possible setting. The eArc mode is set to auto and the Digital output audio format is set to pass thru. Thank you

So after a night of tv it did not happen. We watched Netflix thru our set top box and regular cable tv. I'm not going to consider the issue solved yet as nothing is really different except 1 HDMI cable and we have watched before where the drop out did not happen. It is so random I kinda expect it to happen again. I'll give it a week.

I'm actually trying that now. Pausing for long times, fast forwarding etc. also tried Netflix from set top box and in tv app. There isn't anything on the soundbar that would cause it to time out. I know it has happened when there has only been a short Lise or change so I don't think it's a time out issue. I do have other hdmi cables but the ones I am using are the newest ones I have. I will make note of exactly what I was doing if it happens again.

Seems to happen with apps and set top box. Using the hdmi cable that came with the Sonos Arc and a Samsung Premium high speed hdmi cable. No auto sleep settings on Sonos Arc.

Thank you SamsungGill Everything is connected properly and using the eArc output of the tv. The issue is audio randomly completely cuts out after certain actions. Coming off pausing a show where it was working, push play no audio, turn tv off and back on and audio returns. Or change the channel then no audio, turn tv off and back on and I have audio. It very sporadic and random and never happened using the optical out of my previous tv. I'm going to try the optical out of the Q60T and see what happens but the eArc out was a main selling point choosing this tv. How do I know if it is a defective Q60T or not?

Hi all New here so please take it easy on me LOL I can't find a straight answer on some sound settings. I have a new 55" Q60T connected to a new Sonos Arc soundbar. HDMI eARC mode set to Auto I don't understand the differences between PCM and Pass Thru under Digital Output audio setting. I have it set to Auto currently but want to know if that is the best setting. A few times we have experienced no sound output when coming off of a pause or starting a new show. My only input device is an Xfinity set top box. Thank you in advance!
