Sometimes after I have an update done. My phone has a problem. So I do a factory reset, but I back up everything I before doing the factory reset. And it does help doing it. I know it's a pain, but it helps.

I always put a SD card in my phone despite the memory that is on the phone. You should get an SD card. And then back up everything that is very important on your phone. You can even move it to the card. Easy and simple to move. Not sure, reach out to me on here and I'll help out someone will help you.

Go to settings and go to advanced features. Scroll down to s pen. U sent you a screenshot. Make sure you have everything clicked like I do. Maybe this might help. It also can be that maybe you didn't have the s pen all the way in and it has to be charged. So make sure it's in. Turn off the phone entirely and then wait a minute. Start phone again and maybe too that might help it. Let me know it worked.

Try going thru Bluetooth. See if the Bluetooth works and make sure the Bluetooth is on. Using Bluetooth works better.

Pull down the top to you see the settings gear. Scroll down to digital well being. Click on it. Scroll down to customization and click on it. Scroll down to you see digital well being. Click on it. I think it should turn it off. But not certain.

If you go into your camera. When open there is single take photo video etc above camera button. If you slide those words right to left you should come to more. Click on that. You will see more options. Like night mode. You can hold and drag it to the list you just slid. And then it's always there. Try and see if it works. And happy picture taking at night.

Go into settings. Under display click on eye comfort shield. There you can set a set time to go on and off. Or have it off totally. Hopefully this helps. Or pull then the top to all icons. There you will find eye comfort shield. If you keep your finger on it, it should take you to the settings to do what I mentioned before.

If you have good lock app you can have the screenshot button added to the home button. Look at pictures and follow. If you have any problems, let me know. But you need good lock app.

Here is a screen shot of how to do it. Pull down the notification bar all the way down. They will have to look for the screen recorder button. They tap on it and it will ask you if you want sound or not. After you click which option, it should start recording after 3 seconds

Write down the contacts your having trouble with. Then delete them. Turn the phone off wait a minute. Turn it back on and readd them. Then see if that works. I can really understand why it works on all others except two. This is the only thing I can suggest. Unless you have a different settings on those two contacts different from all others.

I don't think it's a dud. It could be the screen protector. If it's the glass (temper glass) then that's the problem because the glass is preventing the touch of the those buttons. I had the same problem and I took the temper glass off and had no problem afterwards. I switch to a tpu screen protector and it works fine. If that doesn't work, then yes your phone has a problem. 1. If your phone is paid off you can upgrade. 2. Go to the website or app that is for your carrier. 3. Click on shop. 4. Look for upgrade and follow the steps. You should have no problem keeping the same number. If that doesn't work you can go to a store or call.

Did you try the water reject mode on your watch. If so then I think you're watch is defective. I would call Verizon about it or samsung.

I would change the strap. you might be sensitive to the strap. I use a metal strap on my samsung watch and never have a problem. Hopefully this helps.
