Thank you everyone for trying to help each other out. Samsung has failed us all. - my monitor's model is: LC49G97TSSNXDC - I have nothing connected to the monitor when attempting to install the .img via usb 2.0/3.0/3.1 - my monitor has never acknowledged any usb regardless of format, file type, or firmware update 6/7/8 - the connection from my PC to the Monitor via usb to power usb (squared end wtv its called) has never been acknowledged by either my PC or Monitor. - my discord is MDRNMDCN#5187 and i will PAY $$$$ to whoever can help me update my firmware. - having installed the drivers for DP1/HDMI, I don't understand what connection between the PC and Display need to be made. my discord is MDRNMDCN#5187 and i will PAY $$$$ to whoever can help me update my firmware. @ddaniel51 @userDNVYlwhx7X @user53f1mIQY3S @userKv0NXQK7LG @KrazePendragon

tried a new 3.0 and 3.1 formatted to fa32 and still no luck. i think i have bad usb ports on my monitor.

having all these same problems. tried that cruzer glide. tried USB 3.0s 3.1s still no luck. tried different formatting methods. tried extracting the zip inside the usb. tried it all. i believe i have bad usb ports. my serial number is also unrecogonzibale to Samsung.

I went and got a 3.0 PNY 64gb and formatted to Fat32 nonbootable etc via Rufus. Still no luck. Any help on formatting issues?

Thanks! so i have the usb drive in the right slot. the usb cable connected to my windows (not getting any kind of acknowldegement ding). could it be windows isn't finding the monitor?

any suggestions on getting the firmware to work? i beleive the USB ports on my G9 are defective. ive tried serveral USBs and different formatting methods and i STILL cannot get the monitor to acknowledge my USBs

I actaully tried a PNY 2.0 and still no luck. I believe that my USB ports on the Monitor do not work at all. 6 different USB's all completely formatted at Fat32 all with the correct file. Even tried just going up to 1006 and still no luck. Probably a defected monitor.

Any help on updating firmware. ive tried alot of USBs all formatted to Fat32 with only the appropriete file on it and my G9 hasn't found any of them in the correct (or other usb) slot.

I have tried almost everything. I have tried multiple types of USB drives. Formatted to Fat32 (and ExFat) with nothing on them but the newest firmware and I CANNOT get my G9 to read the USB. Please Help. Will Venmo.

can anyone please help? i'm copying JUST the file (ive tried img and bin) on a 20 something Fat32 formatted drives and i still can't update my firmware to 08. The monitor simply won't find the drives. 100% on the right USB (and tried the other one) 100% file type (and tried the other one) 100% on probably 20 different drives (different brands, different sizes)
