Hi, I have tried safe mode start, the check charger/USB port message does not go away. IT has checked:- 1) safe mode restart 2) cleaned USB port thoroughly, very clean under magnification 3) Cleared the USB cache 4) We're only using original Samsung chargers, tried different ones, same output rating 5) we have new USB (Samsung) cables 6) We have done a 'force stop' from Android System. The message goes away, but the moisture message comes back when trying to USB charge. What next please Samsung? We have almost half the Samsung S9 phones in the company with the same moisture detected problem, I believe it's a Samsung software/firmware issue they are not fixing. Maybe you should suggest our company change to another brand...

I solved the problem - buy another brand! Our company has many Samsung phones (S8, 9, 10), many of them give the moisture error message, sometime it will not go away. We are careful with the phones, ports are carefully cleaned by IT department, dried and checked with magnifier, we buy new Samsung brand USB cables and chargers, but still the issues remain. After much time wasted to find solutions (YouTube and forums are full of this issue, obviously it happens a lot) the phone may charge via USB again. With my own phone, immediately after a software update the problem is back. I like the phone, it is a pity we will need to get another brand, this is the last time we will try to fix it. Samsung is damaging their reputation, this issue has been happening for a long time to many users.

Please Samsung, can you fix so many charging issues with your Galaxy phones, the forums are full of these issues, our company is very tired of frequent charging problems, we dont want to change brands yet because when they work they are nice phones. Phones have new batteries, the charging ports are carefully cleaned (under magnification), they have no moisture, the chargers are correct and cables new (all Samsung brand). But we get different messages 1) moisture detected, or 2) charge cable inserted = no reaction, or 3) flashing red light (cable connected but not charging), or 4) charge icon comes on but no charging. Usually happens immediately after Samsung\Android upgrade. We have not installed new apps. We have tried Safe Mode, clearing the USB cache, and some suggestions from IT department - no positive results. Phones charge on pad only, not what we require.
