Did they replace your phone? Mine drops the stream about every 40 seconds. It's maddening. It's consistent, like clockwork. I turned off the wifi to see if it was isolated to wifi but it's doing it with my data streaming too.. it's really ridiculous. It was doing it some before the January 2021 update but now it's nonstop.

I actually really miss my Google Pixel 2XL after upgrading to the S20 FE on black Friday :( This is only one of the dumb thing I'm discovering about the S20 FE. Looking forward to switching back.

I just got a new S20 FE and I am so frustrated with what should be one of the most simple functions of a smart phone. On my previous phone, a Google Pixel, when a new text came in, I just double tapped the notification and once unlocked, it took me straight to the message app and to that thread. On this new phone, NOTHING I do takes me right into the message app and to that message thread. And this is when it’s unlocked by location (I’m at home). It still tells me the Lock Screen message of swipe to open. I do that and it goes to the Home Screen, message forgotten. Why doesn’t tapping the message take me right to the message app? It’s unlocked by Trusted Location. Even if it wasn’t, it should do a fingerprint or Face ID and take me right to the app. Instead I have to swipe to login, then from the Home Screen select the message app, then go to the message I want. It’s maddening! I ended up downloading the Google Message app and went back to using that. Really poor performance from what’s supposed to be a great phone and company. Major oversight unless I’m completely missing something.
