Today I was almost in a very bad accident when I was driving home from the doctor and it was because of something Samsung did. At the end of the day it would have been my fault completely because I shouldn't be texting in my car in the 1st place. But on my grave stone I would have to make room for a dishonorable mention about Samsung for contributing to my demise. I know how to text and drive very safely I have my phone set up above my steering wheel right next to it. I am always looking ahead at the road with a mere glance to my phone for a split second, no longer than I would glance at my speedometer or my radio station channel. I don't text by hitting the letters on the keyboard I just hit the microphone and I talk. Every time Samsung does a forced update they force me to use a different format. Today Samsung wanted to do an update so I let it. If I don't let it, I get nagged every 10 minutes. After it finished it gave me a format that was completely different than what I'm used to using, and it forced that on me. I didn't ask for it. I didn't want it. I never want it. Every time I get my phone set up so I know how to use it, and use it well to my safety and my benefit and everybody else's benefit around me, Samsung does an update and they force a new feature or format on me. They add cute little things that change the format and change what I'm used to. I'm not saying Samsung shouldn't do updates they just shouldn't force me to use features from that update that I don't understand yet and that I am not used to using. Why shouldn't I have the option of saying yes or no? I shouldn't get a little bubble with a microphone on it that says, "Respond to your text message here". NO, I want to respond to my text in the way that I KNOW HOW TO while I'm driving a car. It's dangerous enough already. Don't change my format without my permission!
