Same here. There are many threads online. No answer. Its weird because it seems like its a software issue, or maybe i dont know how monitors work. Probably that because they should have fixed this by now if it was possible. Its know as the horizontal line/scanline issue. I have it as well. Some settings such as blacklight equalizer  and refresh rate have something to do with how prevalent the issue is, but it isnt a fix. These monitors are just defective. ... View more

Same here. Im gonna return this and maybe go for ASUS monitor instead. This is my first encounter with Samsung screens, and it has left me with a sour taste. The specs of my G7 are absolutely phenomenal. I cant find another screen on the market with a curve, 240Hz, gsync and 1440p. Its one of a kind, but this issue is realy something i cant look past, as its pretty noticable in normal usage. ... View more

Got my 32'' G7 a week ago. The first thing i did was notice these lines in certain colors (oranges, blues) as well as transparent images/effects in games (especially Warzone) turn into pixelated grid.    I also get these lines sometimes. Some refer to these as Scanlines on reddit. There is a whole thread about this, and this seems to be an unfixable issue with these monitors.   The weird part is that these lines appear in certain conditions. For example they can get triggered when scrolling past a certain point on a website, and suddenly the whole screen is affected (not only the website).  Its not like the screen is defected in a physical sense. Its perfectly capable of displaying colors and everything, but certain conditions cause this mess.   I tried firmware update, and messing around with settings, and nothing has helped. The first pattern triggers the lines only when i scroll past like half of the page.    Edit2: Tried to set the monitor to 60Hz refresh rate and the issue seems to become pretty much unnoticable.
