Got my 32'' G7 a week ago. The first thing i did was notice these lines in certain colors (oranges, blues) as well as transparent images/effects in games (especially Warzone) turn into pixelated grid. I also get these lines sometimes. Some refer to these as Scanlines on reddit. There is a whole thread about this, and this seems to be an unfixable issue with these monitors. The weird part is that these lines appear in certain conditions. For example they can get triggered when scrolling past a certain point on a website, and suddenly the whole screen is affected (not only the website). Its not like the screen is defected in a physical sense. Its perfectly capable of displaying colors and everything, but certain conditions cause this mess. I tried firmware update, and messing around with settings, and nothing has helped. I am going to be returning this monitor. Edit: These sites trigger the lines for me: https://rog.asus.com/wallpapers/ http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/inversion.php#invpattern The second site is especially weird. The first pattern triggers the lines only when i scroll past like half of the page. Edit2: Tried to set the monitor to 60Hz refresh rate and the issue seems to become pretty much unnoticable. Once i set it to anything higher, the issue slowly creeps back in. The effect becomes worse with higher refresh rate.
