I have 49 inch Odyssey G9 hooked to a Dell XPS 13 laptop via a display port of Dell WD19 TB docking station as an external monitor. The resolution is set to 5120x140. The laptop is set never to sleep. The monitor however goes to sleep. It is set to factory defaults. Once it wakes up its resolution reverts to 800 x 600. I have to power cycle to monitor to acquire the resolution of 5120x1440 as set in display setting for this monitor. This is the only external monitor I am using. Is there a way to avoid power cycling? Thanks, Ram
