I have the same issue. After watching TV for a couple hours the power just cuts out and the only way to turn it back on is to physically unplug the unit from the wall or the back of the sound bar and plug it back it in. Using the remote power button does not work. I added the firmware upgrade and tried both solutions offered here without success. The power cord is secure, and even if the auto shut off was engaged then the remote power button should work to power the sound bar back on. Very frustrating. Is this a known issue with this unit? Is my only option here to return this and face the same issue if I get a replacement? Please provide answers.
