Hey guys, I received an 8k hdmi 2.1 cable today and wanted to try it out with my rtx 3080. I was having a lot of issues when using the official hdmi 2.1 port (port 4). My TV kept losing the signal when I switched to game mode and stuff. Then out of desperation I tried it with the earc port of the TV (port 3) and now I could activate game mode and 4k 120hz was working without any issues. How is that possible? Isn't port 4 the only port that should be able to do 4k 120hz? Hope you guys can help me out
