Go for it. I have 50 pages of documentation about the monitor they lost. I hope others take note as they need a wakeup call! I am also talking to media outlets about exposing their lack of fair business practices after the sale! Get the word out!

I sent my 32 inch specialized Photo Monitor to Samsung Service on Thursday December 3, 2020. They received it on Friday December 4 at 10:22 AM. The CSR said it would be turned around in about 1 week. I use this monitor for photo & video editing. After waiting about 1 month I used their automated lookup & it said the repair number was not found. I phoned support & was told it was going to be replaced & they changed the repair number. Again I waited and nothing. The new number status hasn't changed & is still reporting very little information. Let's face it they lost my monitor, if not they wouldln't have offered me $60.45 for my monitor that cost me $1,407.79. I rejected their offer. Martin B from the president's office told me they have no replacement monitor avalable. He then said "I will continue to make contact with the service center until I can get a response. I have checked our available inventory and we do not have a comparable model for exchange. Please send the purchase receipt for the unit and I will see if refund is an option." This was pasted from his email to me. I had to find a monitor with the same specs & found that most compatable montors were over $2000+. I kept the search & finally found a lenovo for $100 less & sent him the receipt for the lenovo. His answer "We are not able to use the Lenovo pricing for a refund. We would need the original bill of sale, otherwise we use our system pricing. Samsung’s system pricing for your unit is $60.45. Regrettably, there is no inventory available for exchange. I am working with our service center to have the monitor shipped back to you unrepaired. I will follow up with you on tomorrow to discuss further." So I sent the Samsung invoice. This was his reply "Thank you for sending the bill of sale. The refund offer has been updated. Based on the bill of sale, Samsung can proceed with a refund of $169.24. We require your acceptance of the offer to proceed. If you accept the refund, Samsung will retain the monitor. Otherwise, I will continue the requests to have the unit sent back unrepaired. Please advise of any questions or concerns." I sent them a monitor in perfect condition except for an intermittent power swich. I asked repeatedly on our phone calls for them to return my monitor unrepaired & I would work around the faulty switch. That would have ended their liability. They didn't because they lost it. I'm not letting them off the hook. I will expose them for what they are. Needless to say when my many Samsung products need replacing they will be replaced with other brands. I strongly suggest you do the same. I'm going to spread this story to the media. I my not bring Samsung to their knees, but i will kick them in their shins
