Our S20 phone has a crack in the screen also. Yes, expensive phone, made cheaply. Of all the phones we have owned, have never had any cracked screen issues. They say it is not under warranty because it is considered physical damage. I have always loved Samsung products but they must stand by their mistakes and admit that there are flaws if they want customers. Samsung is saying that we have been careless with our phones. There are reviews out there that the screen was made poorly and cracks easily. This is very alarming for a company that doesn't care about the consumer but just thinks about the sales.

No, our s20 got a crack on the screen also, had it for 8 months, they wanted us to go to more than one place also. Was told it was physical damage so not covered under warranty and will lose samsung warranty once it is fixed, would cost $300 to fix it also. On all the phones that we have owned, never had a cracked screen issue. I do not agree with Samsung that this is physical damage. A phone should hold up to everyday use. The screen was made poorly and they should own up to that.

Be very careful on spending your money on a S20 phone. It is well known that the screen was made poorly, and cracks appear very easily or just happen and will not withstand everyday use. I wish I would have done some more research about this phone before I spent $1000.00 in May 2020. I got this phone for my husband as he was using an S6 still and we were changing phone services and he needed an updated model. Every phone we have had, we have never had an issue with a cracked screen, they have always been in cases and screen protectors. We still have the old phones to prove this statement. Samsung does not provide a hard screen protector for this model. Samsung says our phone is still under warranty and to take it to an authorized dealer. We took it in and was told it was not under samsung warranty because it is a physical defect and once they fix it will lose the samsung warranty also and would cost $300 to fi it. Did not get it fixed yet as Samsung should stand behind their products, they knew the screen was poorly made but still put out the phone because of competition , who cares about the consumer. I cannot afford to replace an expensive phone like this and am really disappointed that Samsung will not stand behind their products, but will put out a flawed phone to stay in competition and make more money for their corporation and screw the working middle class.
