Well, there are other ways, ie apps, to make WiFi calls. While maybe not ideal, there's What's App, Signal, and I'm sure many others.

Thanks Tom. That was only part of it. The other part was that there was still a message indicator at the top of the screen. Once I swipped that away, the dot went away too. I should have remembered that, as I had the same "problem" with the Garmin Connect app. 😀

There's a dot, with the number 1, on the Galaxy Store app, that I cannot figure out how to clear. Opening the app does not appear to indicate anything is (new) there. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance. Eric Ps. I'd upload a screen shot, but maybe that can't be done via phone.

Great question. Why samsung decided to create its own place for apps is so confusing. Would love to know why I should, or shouldn't, use samsung store vs Google. What if my next phone is not a sammy? Did I make things more difficult? I tend to download from Google play whenever I can.

New to Samsung. I notice, if my phone has sat for a while, when I pick it up it does a short vibration. Anyone know why? If I put it down and pick it right up, it does not happen. Also, I typically lay the phone screen down, so do not know, yet, if that's a factor. Thanks in advance, Eric

Check your carrier's coverage map. Each carrier typically has a map showing what is where. For example: https://www.att.com/5g/coverage-map/ https://www.verizon.com/coverage-map/ https://www.t-mobile.com/coverage/coverage-map

Who did you ship it with? I would think they are responsible if the package you shipped was lost, damaged, or otherwise messed with... I.e. not what you shipped. If Samsun did not get the right thing, it's the shipper's fault. Follow up with them, and perhaps submit a claim.

Try swiping up on the main screen, the camera should be there. Now you can drag it back to where you want it. Hope this helps. Eric PS. I'm super new to the phone too, and still learning.
