Or don't work on holidays and weekends. Them being incorrect about getting the update on the 25/26th is pretty sucky, but I think it's reasonable to not get a response until Monday.

It may almost be 2022 but giant blobs of text without periods still are hard to read. They literally sent out something saying the beta is over, and considering some people who weren't part of the beta got the new update, it makes no sense that Samsung would expect us to continue to report bugs in an old version of the OS(one which had many bugs fixed in the updated version).

T-Mobile is a very popular carrier though so I wouldn't lump them together with less popular ones, who knows at this point why it's taking so long.

You're mad I called out your ignorance so you're going through my post history? Ok. If it really was dumb, blame Google for adding it to their version of Android 12. 🤷

You'd think if you signed up for the beta you'd check the forums once in awhile, enough to not ask in the same question for like the 10th time in a row, but I guess not.

It's been "official" for a long time now, it depends on the carrier, I don't know why people keep making posts like this when no one here knows(or would be able to know) when "soon" is.

That's not what it's supposed to be though. That just keeps the screen on when you're looking at it, it's not anything related to rotation.

Exactly why I'm suggesting it, if it's part of Android 12 I'm not sure why it wouldn't be in the beta yet if they're planning to implement it. I hadn't heard it was Google exclusive. Will check out the app you sent, but I still hope it makes its way to Samsung phones.

It'd be really useful to have auto screen rotation be based on how the camera sees your face, so that it'd be possible to do something like laying on your side with your phone without it improperly rotating. This scenario is the one reason I don't keep auto rotation on(and I presume many other people are the same), and considering Pixels can do this now, I don't see a reason not to implement it.

Have you tried looking at your "fone's" device care to see if there's any background apps that keep crashing? They can cause a "fine" to get hot.

The stretch effect doesn't make Samsung's unique seeing as it's just a generic Android 12 feature(hence why Chrome still stretches, as Google makes it), but I do agree it's really sad to lose that, it was super nice imo.

It wouldn't hurt your phone unless something went majorly wrong(and I'm fairly sure they test for that before it gets to beta testers), just might be temporarily unstable while they fix bugs. Having said that at this point I'm not experiencing any impactful bugs.

They aren't just going to forget something, bugs are digitally recorded and most likely digitally marked as resolved. Whether they decide/manage to fix it for the next beta though is completely up to them.

This doesn't prevent you from using your phone, and it's a beta, you should expect bugs like this and report them, don't act like you weren't warned of bugs.

That's not how it works. They really don't know the problem without error logs so they can repeat the issue in case they can't replicate it on their own. Also chances are that they need the error reports for bugs, and do not look to the discussions for them.

No, the beta test is exactly where this should happen. By the sounds of it, it seems like a rare issue, something which they really wouldn't have a way to know about without it going to beta... Don't know why so many people are complaining about bugs in a beta, the beta is literally used to help find bugs.

The edit and more apps buttons take you to a completely different menu, not to mention that apps page can be removed from the edge panel. They're 2 different buttons which do different things.

Now that we have the ability to limit charging to 85%, I think it'd be helpful to have the ability to turn that feature on/off on a schedule. I personally would want to have that turned on for weekends, and off for Monday-Friday, when I might need to use my phone for more. It'd also be helpful to have an adaptive battery feature which learns overtime when you take your phone off the charger, and doesn't charge it fully until that point.

As much as we all want this, I don't think suggesting it is going to do anything. They make money from Facebook for it, and unless enough people stop buying the phones to make Facebook not worth it to Samsung, nothing will happen.

It's not "delayed" if they didn't plan to release it now in the first place. If they do rush it for you, it'll just have more bugs, let them go through their process.
