Thanks for the reply. I sent the error report. Also, note that this is not a part of the "beta program". This problem is happening with the One UI Stable release that I received. Thanks for the answer. I will try it, but as a software developer myself, I don't think it will work. Also, I don't think contacting my carrier will work here since there is nothing wrong with my carrier. The same SIM used to work on OneUI 3.0 yesterday. I think Samsung has a bug in One UI v4.0 here. I bought my phone in the US but now I live in India. Since it is the globally unlocked version, it used to work in India just fine. But after OneUI 4 update, phone calls and SMS have stopped working. Please look into this as it is a big problem. It basically makes the phone unusable.
