Factory reset your router/modem. On router hold down the reset button for 45 seconds, then release. Once rebooted try connecting your new device. This worked for me.

Power off device then remove and reinsert sim. Sometimes this happens a lot when sim card isn't inserted properly, ie device freezes then shuts off and reboot. Hope that helps.
