I feel like Carrier hub is stopping my messager app from working properly and I noticed this since the update. If I delete the app will my messager app work like normal again?

I got the Note 20 ultra 5g and the batteries life is no good. The phone doesn't last a day without having to charge it! This is the first phone from Samsung where I had a battery issue. I don't know if it was the update I got last week Friday that impacted the battery but this is ridiculous for a phone that costs $1300!
