The RCS in Samsung Messages is compatible with RCS in Google Messages btw. However RCS in Samsung Messages can only be enabled by your carrier

You don't have to keep 2 copies of apps. You can sign into a separate Google account inside the folder and use the play store to obtain apps or copy them into the folder and delete the copy outside the folder.

Not recent. Got my S21 in February early summer was in LA and it started happening and has been happening ever since. Tmobile has so far been silent on the issue presumably because they are knee deep in a major network renovation and integration as they ro out 5G NR and attempt to shut down the old Sprint Network.

Its not the phone. Its know issue with Tmos 5G network. The modem software isnt handling network handoffs and transitions well. Every 5G phone on tmobile is affected. Toggle airplane mode on then back off to restore connectivity.

All you have to do is toggle airplane mode. TMO network is 4G LTE, 5G NR, 5G NSA, and VoLTE on top. 5G NSA USES a 4g LTE fallback for voice and 5G NSA and NR and 4GLTE aren't designed to be deployed they way tmo has so your phone gets stuck In a hand offl oop snd the modem disconnects

A bit late been busy but it's not ridiculous at all. Beta Testers and Early adopters are hardly ever the types to live in between eco systems. Sammy Fandom is Galaxy Phone, Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Tab, and something tuned by AKG. Might even have a kitchen set or a TV and SmartThings in control of home automation. Just like those fruits have fruit phone, fruitpad, fruit watch fruit pods and fruit card. We are not the types to have Galaxy Phone paired to a fossil watch toting a fruit pad rocking out on LG neckbuds

None of us use Google Messages. We don't own Pixels. My last suggestion is make sure that notifications are disabled for the unused messaging app. Like in Galaxy Wearable under read aloud notifications the unused SMS app should be grayed out and say blocked or not allowed on phone

Have you tried looking in your Assistant settings? I have a pair of M3 that have the Assistant in them and they read all my notifications and the voices are very very similar

You can swipe those away. You swipe left or right. Also you can change the notification from a brief one to a non alerting one

You can run Dex on the Tablet already. And call & messaging on other devices and continuity already allow you to use your phone on the tablet. And considering thst the s21 ultra is **bleep** near 7in and tab s7 is 10/12.1in thats not a huge gain in screen real estate and a waste of battery. Anything the phone can run the tablet can also just natively run. DeX on a standalone monitor or DeX/Link2Windows are more useful solutions.

I'm pretty sure it already does. The phone won't accept usb connections unless the device is unlocked and the trust device button is pressed. The lockout period is 24 hours without a successful unlock. And there's an option in security to add a lockdown option to the power menu which disables biometrics and notifications. Last but certainly not least Secure Boot which is disabled by default is Full Disk Encryption.

Use Reminders or ToDo instead of Calendar. Or put a calendar widget that list upcoming events on the AOD , on your homescreen, or on that weird page that's to the left of the lock screen.

It's your color scheme, not the actual layout. Turn on Dark Mode, then look at it. The whole panel just clashes with the visual cohesiveness of the UI. The placement of the settings gear is in the best place it can be. It's not for the individual panel, it's settings for the whole feature. So putting it in the white space presents the problem that now any other buttons to modify the panels are now repetive and redundant because they could all be in the settings menu. But that would make simple edits like adding an app or rearranging contacts more steps than necessary. Or you end up with a design that's inconsistent with the entire UI cause you could have the settings gear open up an overflow menu that ask you to choose either edit this panel or edge panel settings. The way it is now is the best design from a usability standpoint. Furthermore it fades away after like 5/6sec even if you don't swipe the panel.

Na. Because that settings gear takes you too the edge panel settings no matter what edge panel you're on and once you swipe to a different panel it disappears.
