I've had unlocked devices since the inception of the Galaxy Note and have never had the option to use anything but WiFi. I'd love to use data instead of WiFi to update my smartphones. There are times when I receive an update alert while I'm away from my WiFi connection. It's aggravating because I won't use a connection I don't trust. As to being carrier specific, I've used them all and over the years and have always been forced to update via WiFi. 😒

If I remember correctly if you received a device with issues, such as dead pixels in your case, you could've exchanged or returned the "defective" device within 30 days of purchase. NOT upon receipt but upon purchase. I could be mistaking. Believe it or not It's happened a couple of times before. 😂 Best of luck to you!

I've tried to give you a step by step example of how to force close and clear the data from ANY APP. You can also further limit app use by restricting it's battery usage by going into the Battery label and press "Restricted". Those will be some apps that are sort of greyed out where you can't make changes to battery use. Obviously you'll leave those alone. Hope this solves your issue. ✌️

Open Settings/Apps Tap "Your Apps" & select "Show system apps" by toggling the "ON" button Verify by tapping the "OK" button Scroll down to the Dex Apps (it appears there are 4 of them) Tap "Dex for PC" and disable it by simply tapping the "disable" button, verify by tapping "OK" press the back button on the Navigation Bar at the bottom of the screen to go back to system apps Scroll down to Samsung Dex and open it. Tap the "Force Stop" button, verify by pressing "OK" Scroll to the Storage Label & open Clear the data by pressing the "Clear Data" button and verify by pressing "OK" There are 2 more Dex apps, Samsung Dex Home & Samsung Dex System UI, open each one following the same procedure for both to Force Stop each and then Clear the Data from each - ONLY IF THEY ARE HIGHLIGHTED IN BOLD BLACK. If they're not highlighted then you don't need to force stop or clear the data. When you've completed your tasks simply press the home button & check to see if you can now use your web page.

I believe the standard issue may be SIX WEEKS 🫣 however they "may" treat lone purchases of the Galaxy Watch 4 Series differently. This question was put forth by numerous smartphone users including those whom purchased the Galaxy Watch 4 with their $250 Samsung Credit. The process time was/is definitely 6 weeks with it without the purchase of a Galaxy Watch 4. You could call Customer Service to get the information directly from them. Oh SusieQ you simply chose the wrong Samsung device for you and are having second thoughts. As for messaging, for the record, Apple refused to bring RCS (Rich Communication Services) to their platform. That's why text messaging between Apple and Android is horrendous. Blame Cook ALONE for that one. Go to a brick and mortar electronics store and compare flagship devices. Start with the Samsung devices then try the S22 Ultra using it's features like the S-Pen etc. Poke around with the camera, try the apps, pay close attention how fast the device is in general and you'll find that you did choose the wrong device for you. Take the things you learned and compare them side by side to the smartphones you've already owned and to a S22 Ultra. Be objective, compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges...pun INTENDED. If you keep an open mind you'll find Android in general is faster, more compatible than others and customizable. Consider the volume of accessories and brands compatible with Android (Samsung Devices in general) from the cases to appliances. Yes appliances. If the perks still don't attract your attention you're using the wrong platform.

Ugh! That's to much information for me, I turn them all off except for app updates. You can go into Settings/Apps/Galaxy Store and tap on Notifications/Notification Categories and choose exactly how you'd like to be notified in detail.

You can also download a third party app launcher and customize your whole launcher experience. There are some outstanding apps in the Play Store. You don't even have to use an app drawer button, you can use a swipe gesture instead for both Samsung and third party apps. I prefer an uncluttered home page myself so I use a third party app with gestures. It's clean, fast and provides the uncluttered look I've been using for years!

If this wasn't applied to a Samsung Finance acct call the issuing bank and dispute the charge. Let the card bank complete their investigation and they'll most certainly inform you of the outcome. If this was to a Samsung Acct then you need to start the dreaded Samsung Customer Service Experience as previously mentioned! 🫣 Has anyone in your household purchased a Samsung Service, appliance, computer/tablet, electronics, smartphone or TV? If you haven't purchased any of Samsung Services or products have you considered the possibility of Identity Theft?

It's the Giga Sound paired with you device? If so try unpairing it. Turn off the Giga Sound for a couple of minutes. Turn it back on and go through the application to pair it. Once it's paired there you'll be able to pair it in Bluetooth Connections without opening the app in the future. I'm going by the application I have to use pair mine and use to play with my Giga Sound. One always has to pair it though the app BEFORE using Bluetooth Connections to pair it. I don't always use the app. I'd rather use my default player, Poweramp, because I have more control over the sound though the graphic equalizer. I hope I understood you correctly and gave you the pertinent information I thought you need. I hope this solves your issue too. Good Luck!

I've been waiting for the Samsung Screen Protector directly from Samsung. Others list them but they're backordered. I was seriously bummed to find out ESR didn't/doesn't have Liquid Skin available for the S22 Ultra at this point. I have a Samsung Black Leather case so I figured I'd go for the Samsung Screen Protector and banking it'll fit properly AND provide the perfect protection for my screen I'm seeking. Love the name by the way!

Over time you will notice since fine scratching where you use the screen the most. Find a screen protector that's right for you. Some users prefer glass screen protectors while others like to use clear silicone film. Silicone film is less expensive and usually lasts just as long, if not longer due to glad shattering, as a glass screen protector. You'll have to choose a screen protector that'll fit properly with your case if you're using one. Some glass screen protectors may not fit correctly with your case. Also consider getting a screen protector for your camera lenses. I've found Liquid Skin to work best on my device. For $12.99 you cannot go wrong and installation is super easy! Your device runs on Android and should have Samsung DEX installed. You'll have to open DEX to run a Windows-like desktop. DEX will do a great job for you though. Try going into Settings in the phone app and toggle the Caller ID and spam protection to the OFF position. Run a test call with one of your contacts to verify their number no longer is tagged "likely spam". This should do the job but you also won't be alerted of any real spam calls from this point on. This will solve the issue of receiving normal calls from your contacts without a spam alert. Good luck!

Sorry to tell you but you can't! The only thing you can do is go into Settings/Apps and scroll down to Samsung Cloud and toggle Force Stop, then proceed to Storage and toggle Clear Data, finally go to Battery and toggle battery usage to Restricted. Unfortunately you'll have to make a practice of this to lengthen your battery life. I do this EVERY DAY or wherever I'm in Settings/Apps Force Stopping other Samsung and various installed apps. .

The one thing I noticed is that you have auto-updates as WiFi Only. You may want to change that to "over any network" and verify whether or not that does the trick. Personally I never use auto-updates due to the fact I want to know and keep track of what apps are being updated. While I now have an S22 Ultra my wife took my S21 Ultra I grabbed last May. After years of updating her devices for her it's getting old so I now have her S21 Ultra set to auto-update. It worked well with her S20 but I can't say how well it's performing on the S21 Ultra. She's still customizing it and installing or uninstalling apps. I'll keep track of it and update this post when I have a more substantive information to relay.

I haven't tried Swiftkey since Microsoft took it over That was one of my favorites up until that point. I to have all the auto-corrections and grammar checkers off and still experience this irritating flaw. Thank you!
