I know how you feel. I have a galaxy s7, and this was a big update for me. My phone's memory is completely full, and it will eventually stop working. No one at Samsung truly cares, or at least that is the impression I've gotten while talking to them. I just wish that if it is a chip issue they would be honest and say it. Instead they just keep saying that is due to high demand, which is unbelievable to me. They have to know how far behind they are and they have to know how many phones they're manufacturing; so they should be able to give a more set in stone date for delivery imo.

It's happening to a lot of us. I ordered the unlocked galaxy s21+ 256gb on July 17th. It originally said it would ship by Aug. 17th, then the expected delivery date was switched to Sept. 28th. I complained and it was bumped up to Sept. 21 only to be switched again to Oct. 4. It even got pushed back again to Oct. 13th, so I complained again, and was sent an email saying that my phone would be shipped by Sept. 30. Then I was sent an email saying it was delayed more than 60 days, and my expected delivery date was just switched to Oct. 19th. Now I am wishing that I wouldn't have had faith in Samsung to fix this, and would have pre-order the new iphone.

I'm glad your phone shipped, that gives me a little faith that mine will come soon too. Maybe I'm being a Karen, but really there is no excuse for such a large & well established company to make such an error. Like, knowing how much stock you have, how much each factory can produce, and how far behind in orders you are all business 101 haha. My order got pushed back to October 13th, and I tried calling the e commerce team. That was useless, for some reason the rep's voice was extremely choppy & I couldn't understand him. So, I settled for using the online order support. That rep said EXACTLY (like a verbatim script) the same thing as the last. I told him it was hard for me to believe him, and if they didn't contact me in the 1-2 business days like he said he would, I would cancel my order and never order anything from Samsung again. It's sad that the only way you can get them to make head way is to threaten boycotting them. I remember when I got my s7 they had a deal that you could show your receipt and get an oculus. I sent in a photo of my receipt, it was immediately accepted, and I got the oculus in like 2weeks.

This is my first time ever ordering off of the Samsung website, and I only did it because it was a super good deal haha. One of my family members got the lower memory S21 from Verizon, so it seems to be people who ordered the higher memory versions. Unfortunately, I don't know if I can wait for next years versions to roll out. I still have the galaxy S7, and the memory is full.

I don't know. People are saying they're getting their flip3 or fold3 early (at the very least on time haha). On the other hand, I'm not sure if Samsung counts labor day as a business day or not, but I haven't heard anything from the last rep who literally said "trust me. I'll get back to you in 1-2 business days". Also, you know it's bad when people ask you if you bought your phone of a scam site since it is taking so long haha.

I'm experiencing it too. My expected delivery date went from September 8th to the 21st, and now to October 4th. I was told by a customer service rep that they experienced "high demand" and that's why my order is delayed. This is a possibility, but why are people who ordered the brand new flip3 or fold3 getting them early? Especially if they received higher demand for those phones than the S21 line. Although I love Samsung phones, I'm extremely disappointed in the way Samsung is handling this situation. I'm honestly contemplating buying a completely different brand, because I have an old Galaxy S7 and I can't wait forever.

I ordered the s21+ 256gb, and have had the same experience. I've contacted customer support numerous times. Literally 2 weeks ago I got told that the phone was back in stock and preparing for shipment. A week later I still hadn't heard anything, so I contacted them again and was told that it would definitely be arriving by sept. 21st. I ordered my phone (only the phone and nothing else) on July 17th by the way. Then I checked the website and my expected delivery date was pushed back to October 4th. Obviously I was quite mad, so I contacted them again. The rep said that this is not usual and that he would get back to me in 1-2 business days with an updated expected delivery date. I don't blame the people who are putting the phones together, or the people getting them ready to be shipped, but Samsung has to do a better job at not over extending themselves and notifying customers that a product is out of stock.
