Group text randomly sends messages to each individual user in MMS group when using Samsung Messages. It's been happening for months. Most environments are mixed and Android and iPhone users. RCS is turned on for me. Happens several times a day and I get no indication of it happening until someone responds to me separate from the group. My message for me shows correctly sent in the group. This does not happen with any other messaging program such as Google or Textra. If I switch to Google after this happens I can see the message I sent 3 times in the group thread if there are 3 other users In it. But no individual threads. Like I said this has been happening for months and every time I switch back to samsung messages after an update it's the same issue that makes me move away from it. The group settings are toggled correctly, data is on correctly, I've cleared storage, reset my phone (after UI3 update) and yet this still occurs. Please fix it

Nope sim cards determine the network, all the carrier does is provision your use of an unlocked phone on it. Your software is pointed towards samsung severs which is how you got on beta to start...also how you get a majority of Normal updates a lot earlier than carriers

Unlocked phones don't have carrier software so they wouldn't get the updates from them. Our phone updates come directly from samsung

I switched over to Google messages and it shows the message that was sent separately to a group of 3 other people, as being sent 3 times in the group chat. In samsung messages, it only shows the one message. so it looks like it's something in how samsung messages delivers the group message.

This has only started since beta 1, samsung messages is the only app that does this if I use textra or Google I never have this issue

Please fix group text randomly sending all messages seperately. Usually happens in mixed environments (android, iphone, RCS enabled). This happens way to often and annoying to see that one of your text was sent to 10 people Seperately. U1 Model

Randomly, a group message I send in Samsung Messages, will either send to everyone or a few people individually. It happens several times a day and I've had to switch back to Google Messages because of it. The toggle for group messages in settings is correct, I've even switched back and forth to see if it fixes it. I've cleared the cache and storage. Force stopped and restarted the device several times. Nothing fixes it. I'm currently on Beta 2 with an Unlocked Note 20 Ultra on T-Mobile.

In houses with mesh wifi setups wifi drops for less than a second when changing nodes. So while my phone never noticably drops the wifi connection, the system sees the split second where it drops and changes the wifi calling preference to cellular. This is a problem for us who have bixby routines to turn mobile data off when we are on certain wifi ssid's. Allow us to turn auto data switching off or if mobile data is turned off don't switch to mobile data because we won't get text anymore or any data at all.
