I know this is from a few months back but were you able to resolve this? Did you exchange the tv? I'm looking at getting a 75 q800t but worried about these issues. I currently have a 65 q9fn which is almost flawless but really want to move up to 75 but I'll be really angry with myself if I give up an awesome tv for something that I won't be happy with.

I've been using it on my Q9FN for the last 2 years and it hasn't removed any coating. I don't spray a whole lot of it on there but it works great. When I sold my last tv (Q7FM) , the guys who carried it out to their car got fingerprints all over it and the only thing that removed it was this cleaner. You have to take the reviews people leave on Amazon with a grain of salt since I have a feeling people damaged their TV's some other way and then try to get compensated for it by claiming this or that cleaner damaged their tv, and truthfully, some people are just plain, well, you know, not very bright..

I've always used a product from Amazon called Screen Mom. It works great and it's never left streaks on any of my screens or damaged any of the coatings. https://smile.amazon.com/Screen-Cleaner-Kit-Computer-Microfiber/dp/B01054S5FM/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=screen+mom&qid=1597330428&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyQTkzWkhDTDZCUDJPJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwOTIyNzE5MU42VjI3NDc2REhIJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTEwNDA2NjQxVjgzQzZPOTVQQ1RLJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==

This may sound weird but have you tired moving the router further away from the tv and see if that helps. You mentioned that the router is positioned only 2 feet away and that may actually be an issue. It's worth a shot.

Mine started doing the same exact thing. Had it since new. It's covers the upper and lower part of the screen and at this point is very visable.

Have you tried using a different HDMI cable? I know the cable worked before but maybe it doesn't like it now for some reason or other. Plug and unplug the cable a couple of times while both the receiver and tv are on and see if maybe that will jumpstart the process..

When you insert the usb drive, prompt the tv to try to update, it should ask you if you want to also scan the USB for the firmware update, select yes and it should find the IMAGE file. The firmware is region specific. US and Korean firmwares are intechangeable. The tv will not automatically update the firmware by simply plugging in a USB drive with new firmware on it and it will not install firmware not designed for for it (it is region based).

Make sure when you unzip the file to the USB drive, the only folder on the USB drive is the folder named IMAGE, otherwise the tv will not see it..

Have been using these same cables with my Q9FN since January without any issues. These are awesome cables and would definitely recommend.
