When we first purchased our Galaxy S10+ smartphone, we recall setting our photos to the highest resolution setting. Since then, perhaps due to a system upgrade, it appears Samsung camera menus only show 4 resolutions or picture ratios of 3:4, 16:9, 1:1, and Full. Tragically, the settings show no associated resolution for each ratio setting. At some point, the ratio setting on our phone was changed to FULL, because someone likely assumed this setting had the largest screen so the highest resolution (since there was no pixel resolution detail in the menu). To our absolute disappointment, we found that the FULL setting is one of the lowest resolutions, even though the viewing screen is larger. We are now stuck with hundreds of pictures at an extremely poor resolution. Why in the world would Samsung remove the resolution detail from the settings? Even a casual user would want to have this information. It is hard to express how destructive this change was in regard to the quality of our photos!! A company of this stature should know better!

Thank you so much, but what a travesty! I do assume we can connect the Samsung Smart TV as an HDMI display to a device performing the video conferencing, correct? If we do, Will the TV display resolution be any better with the HDMI cable connection or still limited by the resolution of the external device (tablet, phone) running the meeting app? Any picture improvements with HDMI over just wirelessly projecting our screen with Chromecast? Does this also mean there are no connection options for a webcam to this TV? Thank you so much for the quick reply.

We have a 65" Class KS800D 4K SUHD TV (model: UN65KS800DFXZA) manufactured in 2016 and would like to use it for video conferencing (Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Team, Google Meet). The Samsung TV has two USB ports in the connect box and one USB port on the rear of the TV. We would like to hookup a Logitech webcam to one of the USB ports for conferencing. There are a lot of conflicting discussions on the internet in this regard. This leads us to several questions: Can you connect a webcam and conference on this TV? If so, can it be done through an app on the TV or only by being connected to an external device (computer, tablet, phone) that is running the meeting app? If conferencing can only be accomplished by connecting the TV to an external device running the meeting app, will the external device meeting app be able to use both the TV display for output and the USB camera connected to the TV as an input source? Or would the webcam have to be connected to the external device (computer, tablet, phone) running the meeting app versus the TV (diminishes the utility of the TV). Some articles suggest we can connect our Webcam and an option should appear that will allow us to configure the webcam. We don't seem to see this option. Instructions are sparse on USB on this TV and discuss connecting flash drives with media, but nothing about webcams. Are we barking up a tree with no cats, or does someone out there have a method for successfully using this TV for audio/video conferencing? Thank you for any assistance ...
