well, you did state its 2.5 years old. Which is way beyond the 12 month limited warranty Samsung offers. Getting upset at a company because your product has an issue way outside the warranty period is hard to justify. I understand you are angry and yes, product show get more time. But there are other ways to fix it. I recommend taking it to a local tv repair shop or buying an extended warranty from a 3rd party provider and claim it under the warranty. I bought a samsung TV, had it for 5 years. A pink line started showing. Samsung didnt offer help because outside of warranty. So i went to a local shop and it was just a loose connector and they fixed it for $30. So ,maybe its a minor issue causing the shadowing. I hope you stay positive and find a solution and always buy warranties to protect your investment.
