Samsung never responds in the feedback section. All they send back is the same generic response every time. It usually states that if I'm having problems with connection to data please follow these step:... Or some other off topic response. This is the only place that someone from Samsung responds or that I can get a response. Also to answer your other point, I believe you are correct but we don't need 50 Fingerprints. Maybe just 6 or 8 at the most. Which is more than enough I believe.

I've requested for something to be done about this during the beta on the Note 20 Ultra along with 44 others and still to this day I have not received any word nor response to this suggestion. I have to use two fingerprints from each thumb just to get a good read on the fingerprint sensor to unlock my phone. This is due to me having a screen protector. Because of the limitations of the fingerprint sensor, my prints are not always read when trying to unlock. The current number of fingerprints we can save is 4. I have to save 2 for each thumb just to get the phone to unlock somewhat normally. So here I am again, maybe with more people behind me this time, suggesting and requesting for you to add the ability for us to save more Fingerprints! 4 fingerprints is not enough Samsung. Regardless of what you may believe, having two of the same fingerprints does make the phone unlock faster. In fact, in the tests that I have done, the phone recognized my fingerprint faster and seemed to me more accurate with two same prints, even faster with triple and almost instantly with all four prints as one finger. I would like to add my index fingers, but I can't do that unless you enable the feature of more Fingerprints... Screen protectors suck but they're a necessity to some. Especially when I paid nearly $1500 for a phone, I'm going to use a screen protector protector for my phone. A simple request to make things easier for us users isn't to much to ask right, or is it?

That's because you have an unlocked phone. Sounds like you bought the Note from Samsung and not T-mobile? If that's the case just call t-mobile and tell them to fix it 🤷 it's no big deal really. They know you have a Note or else the phone wouldn't work lol

I know I've sent you guys multiple and you guys leave the same comment on every post... Please, just address the issue by listening to our concerns. If the logs aren't coming through like we all know they haven't on your end then make a best assumption and just make an adjustment and see how we like it.

Look bud, you asked a question on an open platform that you chose to be apart of. The beta MOD and myself BOTH gave you the answer. If you don't like the answer, then don't ask questions anymore 🤷 There is no arguing here other than you possibly not understanding the process. ATT does not create beta updates nor does any carrier create system update. Samsung creates the updates and pushes it to the carriers. The cellular carriers make adjustments to fit their needs and then push the update to the users. Unlocked devices get the updates before anyone as they're directly from Samsung and not bought from a carrier therefore there is no 'middle man' persay. If you just received an update its either not a true beta update or just an ATT update. If your better is now current then you just now got the beta update from Samsung that we've all been on for weeks since November. We're all here to help each other but if you're not willing to understand then we can't help you. I have my issues with the Beta program and the lack of communication from them. But the answer they provided you and the further details I gave you is it, nothing further. Have a wonderful day.

That is not a true beta update . Beta updates do not come directly from ATT or any carrier. Unlocked devices do get the most up-to-date versions first as that is in its truest form, the update. However, cellular services typically will hold releases to conduct their own testing and additional development and or additions to the software to work with their services. See the Mods response above and or quoted below: "Hello, Thank you for your feedback. As of now, there is no set date for the next beta, but we will let the users know when that happens. Regards One UI Beta Team" Samsung has not released any new beta for the Note series devices yet and there is currently no set date for another update. Therefore we can assume that if you received an updated from ATT, it was most likely an ATT only update OR you are now currently on the same version as most of us have been on since mid November. The last update was November 16th and is version-ZTK9. At this time South Korea has been given an update which we can assume that we will be getting in the states at some point. The timeline, as noted by the Mod, is unknown although sources point to January being a possible release for either a final version or the finalized version.

I've complained about this since day one and nothing has changed. I had to save each thumbprint twice to get even a halfway decent read from the sensor. I've been asking for them to add more Fingerprints so that we have the option to save multiple fingers but they haven't listened to me or the many many others who have and still are complaining.

Probably not anytime soon. There are so many bugs that they're probably trying to tackle right now that they're having to push the dates back.

I've posted about this multiple times and so have many others. I just made another post myself. Seems that our concerns and problems are falling on deaf ears.

Yes. All of the time. I've submitted probably 15 data logs from this Beta Program alone and another 10 or so that were system generated by the phone itself. All I get back are messages saying no data log was sent. It's extremely agitating to be having these problems and Samsung hasn't been very helpful at all.

I know that I have complained about this multiple times and I see approximately 3-5 complaints a week on this subject from you guys. Swiping Gesture Navigon: So I've been using the swip gestures as my navigation of choice and when I disable the "Gesture Hints" it becomes nearly impossible to accurately use the gestures. By impossible I mean it's either completely unresponsive or the actual actions are not the gesture that I made nor intended. When swiping to go back the phone lags, when swiping from the bottom nothing happens. It's like you have to touch right where the screen meets the bezel to get a response. A millimeter more and you'll get nothing. It's agitating when I try to make a gesture and the phone doesn't respond. It makes it even more difficult because it only detects the swipe gestures only if you you hit the miniscule area at the bottom. I've tried turning the touch sensitivity up and it's only made it worse. Notifications for instance on the drop down menu. I go to swipe them away and instead of swiping them the phone starts scrolling through them. It takes 2 or 3 times before I can actually swipe the notification away without accidentally clicking the notification or scrolling up/down. Samsung, you guys need to change the detection area for gesture controls and focus on why when we disable the Gesture hints everything automatically goes to crap. Make the action area larger and higher off the beze on the bottom. Figure out why the swipe sensitivity is so wack and we can't do simple day to day tasks. Apple takes the cake on swipe gestures and navigation controls, take notice! I think this is pretty simple fix and it's not asking for much 🤷 But then again, there's a lot of issues we're seeing here that haven't been addressed that should have been and/or still need to be. Adding more saved Fingerprints for instance. Instead of limiting us to only 4, why not let us add more since the sensor has a hard time reading through screen protectors? That sure was a highly requested change as well that you simply ignored. Since many people are forced to use the fingerprint sensor because of Covid-19 and masks, they're having to register their fingers twice just to get a halfway decent response... 2 right thumbs + 2 left thumbs ='s 4 prints... I'd like at least two more fingers. 2+2+4 thumbs='s 8 total prints. Where are you guys you at??

I've seen a few others on here with similar problems. I know I had them and when I called in Verizon was able to help me out and fix the problem. I hope it gets resolved with the reset! Sorry you're having trouble.

Call your service provider and explain the problem. I had the same issue and they helped me reset network connections which made my device reconnect to the most local tower. This can also help possibly if you're on the move. My service was interrupted due to 5g moving in. After doing this and having the person on the other end do their magic I haven't had any problems since.

Don't hold your breath, they haven't responded to me in about a week. Probably because I called them out for false information. But who knows :face_with_tears_of_joy: 🤷

Exactly, mine has held steady for a few days but I'm not going to hold my breath. Everytime it happens I send data logs and they keep send messages back saying that no logs were sent. It's just a circle of I don't cares now. Probably won't get fixed lol

I bet that the Mods come in and say that since the problem involves a 3rd party app, it would be best to contact the app developer for support. Funny that this seems to be happening to a lot of people and all we hear is the blame game.

I hope they do and that they also take into consideration the many changes that we want made. This is after the second from the last Note Device ever. The Note 21 will be the last of this flagship... So I hope they at least make this phone a beast.

Mine has started to progressively become more of the normal life now. I think I've had it happen a total of 13 times so far. As for the glitching and little freezes that occur, I've had those issues since the start of the beta. Lagging responses or lack there of. I have my fingers crossed that they'll listen to us and figure this stuff out.

I've only sent a few to you through this app directly after this has happened. But of the approximately 13 times this has happened, where the notice pops up as in the screenshot that I have above indicates, I have always sent the data logs. It happened again today twice and I sent the data logs for them both.

Anyone else having this happen more often? In the past few days my Note 20 Ultra has restarted itself more than 3 times. Each time was not by my doing but rather random. It's starting to get rather annoying... And I'm fearing that my reports are falling on Def ears. Whenever it's happened I always send the data logs, but I haven't gotten a response nor reason for these random forced restarts.

I'm still getting glitches from the navigation bar swipe gestures. It's a hit and miss. I'll touch from the very bottom of the screen and swipe up to go home or view the open apps and it doesn't respond. Every other gesture seems to be doing much better though. EDIT: Seems to be worse while texting?? I have the stock messages app. When I go to swipe up to home, etc.. It thinks I'm still typing.

An informed reply would be acknowledging that there are problems with the data logs being sent. They still haven't despite the fact that many people have complained to them. Once we fix that problem then they can begin God's work and make this system amazing!

This is why we're upset. This is why it's agitating. Just as I'm sure it is for you guys! If you're not getting the data logs, how are you supposed to fix the problems right?? We get that guys!
