Since installing the new update, I have noticed that while typing anything, the keyboard underlines words, suggesting options, only to wipe off the entire texts. I have been composing a mail this last 45 minutes and lost it within a second. Is this a general problem? Has anyone experienced this before?

I don't think it is right to make any application uninstallable. If I bought a phone for almost 2000 dollars and someone is contesting with me, who owns the phone?

No. We are on a different operating system. October patch or any patch for that matter while the beta testing is running, is related and will remain integral to the operating system for which it was built. Just as our updates will not apply to anyone not on the beta, theirs will not work with ours.

You can solve all these problems and enjoy this OS if only you can enter into recovery mode, wipe cache, factory reset, then wipe cache again. By so doing, your phone is starting anew and with no bugs. I am a long time beta tester and wrote this from experience. Please, if you don't have time, don't do it. If you want to do it, it is best to first backup your phone completely.

It's always the solution to all problems people are reporting. I have always wipe cache, and factory reset after any beta update. The draw down is that I have to backup my entire phone and restart inputting passwords and ids, but, my phone works fine. I have been testing beta since 2011.

It will take some times more before app providers will catch up with the new android, so many apps are not going to work. This is a new operating system and developers will need time to provide updates to their apps.

I have not noticed anything significant in the new android. The few things I noticed are: 1. On opening each app, I have to grant permission to send notifications again. 2. There is a Sound Notification floating bubble on my page that cannot be dismissed. What do you notice?

My trick in the last 2012 years since I have been doing this is to turn off my phone for 5 minutes, reboot and do software update. It has never failed me. Try it.

Go to Setting and check for Software Update. If it is not ready, turn off and on your phone again. Continue to repeat the software update.

This solution works for me:
1. Locate Bixby Routines
2. Click and hold to go to App Info
3. Click on Storage
4. Clear Cache and Data
5. Click Permission open
6. Clear all permission
7. Clear app setting to prevent app from making system changes.
Once done, you should be good. I did it SB's it worked like magic.
