@david2b this is completely normal and nothing to worry about whatsoever. What you're seeing is the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor that is right beneath the display. It's normal to be able to see it slightly under the right lighting with the display off.

@Munchiez there are no separate 5G plans for TMobile, so nothing will change. You can use 5G with no concerns at all. Glad you got your discounts applied! Ensure you document your trade in well. Take videos and pictures, and package the device so that it is well protected and has little wiggle room. Make sure you get the devices IMEI number also.

@Chopemupgood yeah.... never chat for something important like this. It's always best to call, and make sure they have a call back number to reach you if the line goes dead (which happens). Mention the Office of the President if a supervisor can't help you. They definitely know what it is.

@Chopemupgood I know you're feeling really frustrated, I know I would be! Generally I haven't had a lot of luck whenever I have called in to speak with a Samsung agent. I have always had my problem resolved when requesting a supervisor. Just call up E-Commerce and ask for one. I know the wait times can be long 😞 but there aren't too many other options. Clamly explaining the situation to someone with the power to help you is your best recourse for a resolution. I have also heard that some people have been directed to the "Office of the President" for solutions for problems like these.

@Chopemupgood did you speak to a supervisor? Also, please remember to abide by the Community Guidelines when posting. Language like you used isn't acceptable here, and you may end up being banned. Samsung Community Guidelines

@userjLIsA46K0d oh ok. The reason I ask is because, since this is the US Samsung Community, not many people here will have a lot of experience with Exynos models. If your phone is having noticeable problems, I would recommend having it looked at the very least. Power save settings in device care (under battery) will reduce your cpu max speed. In the same menu, the "more battery settings" page will give you the option to enable enhanced processing.

@userjLIsA46K0d those scores are pretty low. I scored considerably higher. Make sure you don't have any power saving functions on. Did you buy your phone new?

@GammaScorpio after my trade in, and price match discount, I ended up only paying $200 for my S21 Ultra. I got the Galaxy Buds Pro, charging brick, and case for my free promo accessories. I have high transfer speed USB-C drives, and 1TB cloud storage, so I am sitting on easy street. 🙂

@userRondQU1tdu I understand that you're frustrated with the removal of the microSD port on the new S line phones, however the Community isn't a personal blog. All 39 of the comments on your account are you reiterating the same opinion on several different posts. No one is forcing you to purchase the device. If it's not for you, so be it. Make sure to have a look over the Community Rules, so that the Community can be a place individuals can come to constructively seek info and help for their devices. Help make the Community a positive experience. Samsung Community Guidelines

@userRondQU1tdu it's a solution because USB-C is the new universal standard. No adapters are required, just buy USB headphones as well. You're making a mountain out of a mole hill.

@dbb4u most people generally have transitioned to using smartwatches for these functions now, as they are much more reliable and accurate in their readings. I've had all of the flagship Galaxy S/Note line phones since the S8. I can say that your new Note is a substantial upgrade over your Note 8 in pretty much every way.

@Selvin20000 @EatherSpace @shukujo USB-C flash drives are also an option, and pretty cheap. I'm personally not going to miss having an SD card.

@jmonzon61 it's more than likely an issue with the app itself rather than the phone, especially if you never notice it while not in an app.

@xoawesoME if one or more apps are incompatible it could be interfering with other apps and processes on your phone too. It's hard to say that it is the device itself. I've had new flagship phones weeks before release for the past 4+ years, and I have noticed similar issues like what you're describing, but not every time, and only with a handful of apps. Once the developer issued updates I no longer had any problems.

@xoawesoME do you have evidence it is the phone itself? It seems far more likely to me that the app is not compatible with the phone than the other way around, and after the app receives the necessary update, it works fine.

@userpEZsTUIEdO Samsung can't do anything in that regard unfortunately. It's on Verizon to change the way you connect to their network. It's surprising to me they weren't able to help you.

@userpEZsTUIEdO Verizon would be the sole party responsible for mobile network issues. Here is a screenshot of what I see when I select "Network mode" with TMobile.

@userpEZsTUIEdO so you don't see the Network mode option? I would contact Verizon about this. I have TMobile and my S21 switches automatically between 5G and 4G LTE based on signal strength.

@userksnzNUu5VV the link is the word "here". https://www.samsung.com/global/galaxy/galaxy-s21-ultra-5g/specs/ This spec sheet covers all models. Under Bluetooth, NFC is included.

@CesarAr you can also easily take a screenshot by holding the Bixby key down, or asking Bixby by voice, to take a screenshot. This works great for me. Google Assistant can also be used.
