Add me to the broken range knob club (the original knobs, and the replacements have broken). All that customer service has suggested is paying $200+ dollars for a new set. Completely unacceptable response. Do let me know if you're going forward with the class action suit. The inherently dangerous knob issue itself, and Samsung's complete failure to address it, seem to deserve such an approach.

Add me to the list of dissatisfied customers with broken Samsung knobs. As with *all* the other customers reporting this issue, the problem is that the knob sleeve is made of plastic (with a shiny coating to make it look like metal). Since the knobs started breaking when the product was only a few months old and under warranty, the company sent me replacement knobs. These have broken as well. The proper solution is for Samsung to send all affected customers a set of *redesigned* knobs. Alternatively, if no redesigned knobs are available, Samsung should continue to replace the defective knobs regardless of warranty status. Instead, the only solution Samsung has proposed is that I spend $200+ dollars on a new set of *the same* defective knobs. Completely unacceptable. This proposed solution sends a terrible message to customers: Samsung does not stand behind its products.
