I was given a solution that fhas worked for my Galaxy S9 and 2019 Equinox. 1. Uninstall Android Auto. 2. in Blutoot settings go to "Advanced" (Or the 3 verticle dots) nad turn off ringtone sync. 3. in the Equinox, in settings/vehicle/phone remove all instance of your phone. 4. reinstall Android Auto 5. plug phone into the USB port and follow instructions. After talking to Chevy, AT&T and now Samsung I may have a solution. At least for me. After trying a few things today Samsung wanted me to do a factory reset. I had already done one 2 days ago but to appease them I did. But this time I didn't restore anything to my phone. It seamed to fix the issue with my S9 and 2019 Equinox. I guess now it's just a matter of finding the culprit? So probably not a solution after all
