I would suggest using a Bixby routine instead - if home, unlock phone. I could never get Smart Lock to work consistently.

I always had issues too. I would suggest setting up a Bixby routine instead (if at home location then unlock phone). Never had an issue since.

I use 2 thumbs. 1 right above where the arrow is to gently press, and my other thumb towards the middle which I use to slide. You have to be gentle tho - if you press too hard it won't slide off.

Sounds like it trying to protect your account from unauthorized access, and yet you're angry about it. Even using this app requires a Samsung account, so clearly you're signed in somewhere. If it just wants you to verify that your phone is authorized, just sign in. That would've been 5 seconds of effort to solve 2 months of "harassment."

I have an S20 and I spent $1,000 as well. I'm on the February security patch too, and you know how it impacts my life? Not at all. You know that other brand that you want to switch to, well they don't provide monthly updates either - it's as needed. Your best source of security is be careful what you download, don't leave your phone lying around, and be careful who you give your phone to (physical access). If your biggest complaint is that 1 patch was delayed after having the phone for 2 years, your life is pretty darn wonderful.

What phone do you have? Maybe I'm confused, but if you're saying your screen is upside-down, can't you just turn the phone around? With no physical buttons on the front screen, it doesn't matter if you hold it wrong.

I'm confused, as the top part says "after careful inspection" and the bottom part says "after the product is received." So, it sounds like they have it and don't have it at the same time. But, my assumption is they were just updating you on the price, but you won't pay until it's fixed (in case anything else comes up that changes the estimate again). Or you could call the number and then could provide more details.

They believe there's a crack? Or there is a crack? If there's no sign of physical damage, I don't understand why they'd even use that term. If there is a crack, it'll be hard to prove that the other problems weren't caused by that damage. In any case, once a technician puts notes on your account, anyone you call for support is going to read that back to you over and over and over. What you can try though is calling and trying to request a different technician from a different place for a second opinion (saying that the 1st is claiming a crack even though there isn't).

When you're in the panel (the full screen view), click the 3 dots in the upper right corner and select Edit Buttons. Anything you don't want, you can add to the top section ("available buttons") which will remove them from the drop down but keep them in case you ever need them in the future. Ultimately, I don't think you can truly delete them, just hide them.

In your last post, Samsung asked you to send them a private message so they could get your information privately (vs posting your serial number or personal information publicly). That's why they closed it. They didn't "silence" you. Did you contact them???

It's based off of how frequently you contact someone - so I don't think there's a way to edit it. However, you could turn it off altogether in your contact settings.

Pull down the notification drawer twice and it'll show 12 icons (maybe more or less - not sure about the S21 layout). There should be an icon that says "portrait" (a square with a lock in it). If not there, scroll right until you see it. You can long-press for more options.

Are you sure the money request isn't a scam? Usually Samsung doesn't ask for money. Instead they would say something like "you're getting $150 instead of $200 for your trade in."

I don't use the Samsung keyboard, but the clipboard should be built into the operating system. So, if you long press in a text box, there should be a copy/paste/select/clipboard option so you can access it that way.

I had a 4 hour wait once as well. They offered a call back if you didn't want to wait ("press 1 if you want a callback" or something like that). When you ordered it, did you get a confirmation email? Usually with an order number or something you can just check the status online.

If you copied the folders, I assume the system is showing you the available files in all the different locations. So, if you delete the original folders they should go away.

Some of the tvs have Prime and Netflix pre-installed, so they'll still be there after a factory reset. However, you will have to sign in again - same for wifi.

You opened it in pop-up view. There's a little bar at the top of each window - click on that and then click on the arrows that point out. This will then make it go back to full screen.

The only thing I can think of (and may not work for this) is swipe down twice so it shows all the icons. Click the 3 dots and go to "quick panel layout." See if "show devices and media above notifications" is checked.
