Is delivered/Read for messages gone?

I don't know if this was from the update or it started a little before but is this feature gone? Has it been removed or is it just not working for a minute? Have the settings changed? Any help would be appreciated!!

Yes, this is absolutely annoying was working last night but not today. Have tried everything I found online and nothing working

I've been getting an odd phone icon next to the messages I send to one friend of mine. Have you guys experienced that?

I'm having the same issue. It works with a friend of mine but when I message my son and husband its gone.
