Reset of watch lost google assistant

I reset my galaxy 4 watch because the wearable app kept crashing and restored it to a backup that was done yesterday. Now my google assistant is missing from my watch apps and is not available in the watch playstore so I can't  download it. My language is st to English  us. I need help to get google assistant again.

What country are you in? Google Assistant is not available in some countries even if you have language set to English. It may also have been removed from your country as google Assistant is known to spy on its users and is going through a big suit over the ordeal at this time. I personally have removed google Assistant from my watch and other devices. I cant explain how as its frowned apon in this forum but if your in a country that has banned or removed google Assistant, there are ways around it, just search XDA for the answer. Also note that samsung is using googles android operating system and google Assistant is embedded in the software in the system partition unless your country doesn't support it. It may also still be there, just needs to be updated. Open wearable app, goto watch settings, scroll down to apps, see if its in the list.

I had to sideload google assistant using bugyeager to get it back on my watch. That was a total pain and took hours before bugyeager worked right and connected to my watch.

Is your device purchased in US? (XAA code) 

Even if you are in US, set language as English, you may be unable to update Google Assistance app based on your watch model.  As MarvinMod2 suggested, search "Google Assitance" via Watch playstore, and check if apps are searchable on Playstore.

I always had google assistant  on my watch before I reset it and it wasn't  available in the play store to download it. It took me hours to fix it by sideloading google assistant using bugjaeger and downloading the apk file.

I have the galaxy watch 4 and it was on my watch until I reset it . I looked to download it from the playstore and it wasn't  listed. I eventually got it back on my side loading it with  bugyaeger and the apk file. Now my watch has google assistant  again.

I live in the US and always had google assistant  on my galaxy watch and got it from the play store as soon as the Google assistant was released to the samsung watch. Now all of a sudden it is not available  to me on the play store anymore and after I reset my watch , I was able to restore every app I had except for the Google assistant. When I reset my watch google assistant should have been on my watch automatically since all new operating updates has it built into the operating system now.

I would be willing to take a bet that if you reset your watch under oneui6 beta you would also lose the goggle assistant  app because if you try to download it it will say that it is incompatible with your device just like it did on both my watch and my wife's  watch.
