Not sure why the setting for airplane mode is stuck on, even when the option to toggle shows off. Every since I let my battery go down,  after charging and cutting the phone back on I can not connect to the network. I have even tried factory reset but when pulling down the quick panel view the airplane mode option is always faintly colored in. Help!!

You can try testing the phone in Safe Mode. If the issue is also present in Safe Mode, it is recommended to have the phone evaluated at an authorized service location. https://www.ubreakifix.com/samsung

@usergCs2AVA0ou Have you tried clearing the cache partition on your phone?

  1. Turn off the device.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the Power key.
  3. When the Android logo displays, release all keys ('Installing system update' will show for about 30 - 60 seconds before showing the Android system recovery menu options).
  4. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight “wipe cache partition.”
  5. Press the Power key to select.
  6. Press the Volume down key to highlight “yes” and press the Power key to select.
  7. When the wipe cache partition is complete, “Reboot system now” is highlighted.
  8. Press the Power key to restart the device.

@SamsungQue  I just tried the  clearing of the cache, bc my job is my phone I had taken the sim card from the 8Active as soon as I realized it was not working no matter what, and I'm using the 7edge I had before purchasing the 8Active to take calls.  So I tried clearing cache partition 2 times , 1 with the SIM card and 1 without. No change.

Could it be anything caused from the software update which was not long before this problem started? Do I need to try a security patch or something?? I'm in the dark here but I have been reading alot the last 2 weeks off and on trying to figure it out. Update was 11-1-2019

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? My A70 has been stuck on flight mode for over a month, I'm pretty sure it's an update problem, and I've found no solution!
