Wifi problems with Note20 Ultra

I have 3 Samsung phones in the house - S20, S9+ and Note 20 Ultra. The Note phone has intermittent problems with Wifi. The router is Arris BGW210-700 supplied by AT&T Fiber. The other Macbook and Windows laptop and Google Home and Chromecast do not have this problem but Note 20 will lose connection. Symptoms:

a) Couldn't get IP address

b) Unable to connect to Wifi

c) Connected but no internet access

I have done the following debug steps but none have helped so far:

1. Turned off Google Location accuracy

2. Delete cache for all FB apps - Facebook services, IG, Messenger.

3. Rebooted the phone

4. Delete/reset the network settings

5. Wipe the cache partition on power-up

6. Rebooted the router

7. Turned off 2.4GHz radio - only 5GHz is active now

8. Tried both phone MAC as well as randomized MAC

This has been going on for 3-4 months now. Any other suggestions?

Supposedly a known issue. I have had intermittent wifi issues which resolve by simply turning wifi off and on directly on the N20U. Clears right up but still happens occasionally. Someone on another forum has suggested it is a software fix which Samsung needs to initiate but I am not sure.

I have same issue. Even though I am connected on the WIFI with good signal, internet connections erratic, pause, slow. I need to go to 4G SIM card to have faster, smoother connections.

 

WHEN IS SAMSUNG GOING TO TACKLE THE PROBLEM AND DO SOMETHING?????

 

These are most expensive phones, why buy a Note 20 Ultra if you can surf the web????

I installed Orbi 6 wifi router and the problem went away. I am getting 300-500 mbps depending on where I am in the room.
