My Samsung QN55Q7FAMFXZA QLED TV has a video problem when first turned on. The screen changes among 4 shades of black but won’t display anything. Wiggling the BN39-02301B invisible fiber optic cable doesn’t fix it.
It eventually works perfectly if the following cycle is repeated 4 or 5 times with the TV turned on:
- Unplug just the BN96-44667A One Connect box from power
- Wait for TV to display instructions to reconnect One Connect box
- Plug One Connect back into power
After a handful of times, the TV finally displays the QLED TV logo and works perfectly until turned off.
Does this indicate the One Connect box is bad? Anything I can do to fix it? Can I use any One Connect version that supports the connections of the invisible cable? Thank you -
