Several months ago, my wife and I purchased a Samsung Washing Machine.

I consulted the User Manual to see if I could answer the question I am about to pose.
I wash all our workout gear in mesh bags to ensure they won’t become snagged on other garments or unnecessarily stressed in the wash and dry cycles. I find it measurably extends the life of these essential, and often times expensive garments. Of late, I have noticed that darker nylon pants have come out of the machine presenting with what looks like a “rash” in various places. I’ve wiped these spots clean with wet microfiber towels and wet paper towels. They disappear, but the “rash” returns when the area dries.

What is causing this phenomenon? How can I stop this from happening?
The warranty on this machine and its accompanying dryer expires September 30, 2021. Is this something that needs to be covered by an under-warranty repair?
