From One UI 8, default mode changed from 'Transferring files / Android Auto ' to 'Charging phone only' when connecting a phone to a PC or vehicle through USB port.
To connect to your PC or vehicle, you can change the connection mode by selecting the 'USB charging' notification in the quick panel.
If the issue persists after changing the USB connection mode, please don't hesitate to submit an error report back to us.

I had this happen on UI 7, and this persisted for months. Probably just have to clear the app data and make sure it's up-to-date. Reduce background apps, etc. RAM+ also helps me since it usually has issues; runs multiple processes on its own lol (A-Auto)
