Battery life on Galaxy S22(beta One UI 5.0)

Anyone notice very bad battery life for S22? I unplugged my charger at 7am and it is now 3:30pm and I have 51% remaining. I am not a heavy user, I surf websites at watch tiktok videos, usually by 10pm I am down to 26-30% battery....does not seem like that is good battery life

Social media apps tend to drain more battery than others (especially when they're siphoning your data and sending it overseas). I get about 10 hours of screen on time per charge. That's with max resolution and 120hz. Definitely put apps you don't use that much into deep sleep. It helps a lot.

It would be nice if the 5.0 release would include something to help battery life. I have phone set to put apps to 😴

Some people think you have to turn off adaptive refresh and lower the resolution to get decent battery life. You don't. People just use the most privacy-invasive battery sucking applications on Android and wonder why their battery sucks.

That much I know and I've been trying to help people reduce they're battery usage due to this very subject. Who knows if they take the advice or not though.

I think some people expect everything to work perfectly out of the box, like an iPhone. But that's the beauty of Android, you get to tailor everything perfectly for your use-case. People just have to take the time to set it up.

To my knowledge and from my own previous experience with the early iPhones, they don't work perfectly out of the box. For Apple they may but for users that's another matter!
