DiscussionsI don't think that is remotely true if not outright anti-consumer and a frustration maker for device users. I would like to know where is it officially stated that it take 2 weeks to relearn user usage to adjust? I see this from many folks in the Samsung communities and it simply never follows device user putting out widely published narratives in the communities or other online forums to that effect. The phone initially take times to adjust out of the box, but monthly and outright OS firmware changes do not reset that as much as it integrates into the usage over time. Imagine getting monthly updates which are in reality firmware changes themselves, only for the device to be normalized for half a month after each update. People would would be up in arms.

DiscussionsTbh, unless there has been a lowering of apps usage or changes to the home screen effects and brightness the past day to compare to the dasy before the update, it is highly unlike any change will be noticed. Not saying this to be accusatory of a false claim, rather that 24 hours is not going to produce a result like that without changes. Over a week or more maybe so. Post screenshots on what is now battery usage to another from a week form now then show the results without making any changes to the aesthetics or hardware usage. I do not get much of any benefits from any firmware updates because my overall setup is super low energy usage anyway adn I have pretty much had the very same number today as I had even before UI 8.0. Here, this is from ~ 5 days ago.
