It appears that, since installing the S24 beta 2 One UI 8 software on 8/29, I am no longer having frequent, everyday problems with the YouTube application using a lot of power (system steadily drawing 2.0 to 4.0 watts according to AccuBattery) while a YouTube window is being displayed and for some minutes after a YouTube window has been closed. Now, when my display is on and I'm looking at it and not doing anything on the phone except looking at AccuBattery, power draw in the system is typically 0.5W to 1.0W. Having a small YouTube window running a video typically is only adding 0.2 to 0.4 watts.
To assist us in resolving this issue, we kindly ask you to submit an error report through the Samsung Members app on your device immediately after the issue is reproduced:
1. Open Samsung Members. 2. Navigate to One UI Beta Program > Beta Feedback. 3. Attach any relevant screenshots or screen recording/video (if possible). 4. Ensure "Send system log data" is checked, then submit the report.
Important: Please submit the report within 3 minutes of reproducing the issue for accurate log data collection.
